Laura W. Thomas

Laura W. Thomas has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Laura W. is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Skywire Networks since February 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer at Pareteum Corporation from November 2019 to February 2023, and also held the role of Corporate Development and Investor Relations from December 2018 to November 2019.

Before joining Pareteum, Laura was the Chief Financial Officer at Towerstream, a leading Internet Service Provider from May 2017 to April 2018. Laura W. also held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Impact Telecom, a voice and messaging solutions provider for businesses, carriers, and homes, for a brief period in 2016.

In addition, Laura Thomas was the Chief Executive Officer of TNCI Operating Company, a national telecommunications provider from December 2014 to January 2016, prior to its merger with Impact Telecom. Following the merger, they became the Chairman of the Board for Impact Telecom.

Laura has also held key executive roles at XO Communications, serving as the Chief Financial Officer from December 2013 to August 2014, the Chief Executive Officer from February 2013 to December 2013, and the Interim Chief Executive Officer & Chief Financial Officer from October 2011 to February 2013. Laura W. started their tenure at XO Communications as the Vice President of Finance in April 2000.

Before joining XO Communications, Laura held the position of Vice President of Finance at Concert Communications from October 1998 to March 2000. Laura W. began their career at MCI Communications as the Director of Finance from September 1984 to October 1998.

For two years, they immersed herself in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program, primarily focusing on finance coursework. Laura W.
