Nei-Kuan Chia

Nei-Kuan Chia is a board member at Skyword and was previously with Volar Video, Cox Media Group, and CNN. Chia was selected as part of an executive rotation program and placed as interim Director of Business Operations to negotiate operating deals across CNN Worldwide. The primary focus was negotiating operating deals for digital platforms such as CNN.com, HLNtv.com and CNN.com International. Chia is responsible for mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, minority investments, divestitures and strategic planning. Chia lead and directed a team that provided analytical, strategic and transactional support for all CNN Worldwide’s new strategic initiatives, business analytics, investments, joint ventures and acquisition transactions.

Nei-Kuan Chia graduated from the University of South Florida with a B.A. in Accounting. Nei-Kuan then went on to earn their MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School. After working in the business world for a few years, they decided to return to school to study medicine. Nei-Kuan earned their M.D. from the University of South Florida and is now a practicing physician.
