Edward Barrington

Edward Barrington has had a diverse work experience at SLACK & PARR LIMITED. Edward started as a Technical Apprentice in 1994 and then worked their way up through various roles within the company. Edward served as a Production Engineer, where they supervised the gear grinding section, introduced new production techniques, and optimized workflow. Edward later became a Design Engineer, where they gained a deep understanding of the design characteristics and applications of high precision geared metering pumps. Subsequently, they worked as a Sales Engineer, participating in the Fast Track training program and collaborating with the Design Department to meet customer project requirements and negotiate contracts. Edward'smost recent role was as a Project Director, overseeing the planning of a new purpose-built headquarters for the company, and managing capital expenditure projects for the production of Gear Pumps. Finally, they became the Managing Director of SLACK & PARR LIMITED in September 2019.

Edward Barrington earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Management from the University of Bradford, completing their studies from 1999 to 2002.
