Henry (Haiying) Cai is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in data infrastructure and streaming platforms. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Slack since May 2022, Henry leads the Data Streaming Team to develop next-generation messaging and streaming capabilities. Prior to that, from 2015 to May 2022, Henry worked at Pinterest as a Software Engineer, where contributions included the creation of a real-time logging platform and the maintenance of the open-source Kafka Log Persistence Engine, Secor.
