Jesse Bounds

Jesse Bounds is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Slack since January 2022, Jesse leads the Mobile AI team focused on implementing LLM-powered features for iOS and Android applications. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager at Apple and various engineering management positions at Slack, Mapbox, and Brigade, where Jesse has contributed to cross-functional teams and driven the development of innovative mobile solutions. Early career experiences include technical roles in the financial sector at Fidelity Investments and Convergex, as well as a fellowship with the City of Chicago through Code for America. Jesse holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Information Systems, and a Master of Science in Telecommunications Systems Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
