Kimberly McIver

Kimberly McIver is a skilled software engineer with a robust background in frontend development, currently holding the position of Software Engineer II at Slack since April 2019. Kimberly has progressed through various roles at Slack, including Software Engineer I and Associate Software Engineer. In addition to experience at Google as part of the Google Program Community, Kimberly participated in the On Deck Angel Fellowship, focusing on training founders to become successful angel investors. Prior experiences include internships at Slack and PwC, as well as significant involvement in Code2040, where Kimberly served in multiple fellowship roles and helped promote STEM opportunities. Additionally, Kimberly held leadership positions with the National Society of Black Engineers and participated in developmental programs like Management Leadership for Tomorrow. Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Business Administration from San Francisco State University.
