Scott Nelson Windels

Scott Nelson Windels is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in incident management and engineering operations. Currently leading the Incident Management program at Slack since June 2017, Scott coordinates staffing, training, and program development across the engineering organization. Prior to Slack, Scott served as a Senior Operations Engineer at Rackspace, contributing as the lead DevOps Engineer for the Metrics team while supporting Monitoring and Intelligence teams. Other notable positions include Director of Technology Operations at FICO, where Scott maintained stability post-acquisition, and co-founder and President of Ultima Networks, which offered comprehensive insights into business operations. Scott also held roles at Infocentricity as VP of Technology Operations and as Director of Operations at Topica, where Scott directed a team managing a large-scale email publishing service. Scott's academic background includes education at the University of Oregon and The York School.
