Seth Moore

Seth Moore is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in technology management and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Slack since November 2022, Seth focuses on enhancing team communication through Slack canvas. Prior to this role, Seth held various engineering leadership positions at Zendesk, overseeing deployment and release strategies, and at Vista, where significant achievements included managing a team to develop an e-commerce platform that scaled to $1 million monthly revenue within two years. Earlier experience includes software engineering roles at SoftArtisans, Babcock & Wilcox, and Hofmann Mess- und Auswuchttechnik, with a strong emphasis on performance engineering and system architecture. Seth holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Virginia Tech.
