Sheila O'Hara

Sheila O'Hara is a seasoned content design leader currently serving as the Sr. Director of Content Design at Slack since November 2022, where oversight of a high-performing team focuses on enhancing user experiences through an effective language system. Prior to Slack, Sheila held roles at Microsoft as a Content Design Director, leading the growth of a team for Microsoft 365 and co-founding a content design community. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Content for Emerging Digital Products at Capital One, Director of Content Services at GoDaddy, and various roles at Microsoft over a 15-year span, contributing to content strategies and management. Sheila's educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in English from Arizona State University, UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group, and a Certificate in Creative Leadership from IDEO U.
