Stephen Hamrick

Stephen Hamrick is the Vice President of Product Management at Slack. Stephen has over 13 years of experience in product management and has held various positions at companies such as SAP, Oracle, and BEA Systems, Inc.

Stephen Hamrick began their career as a product manager at BEA Systems, Inc. in 2006. Stephen then moved to Oracle in 2008 where they worked as a consulting product manager for the WebCenter Suite. In September 2008, Stephen Hamrick joined SAP as the Vice President of Product Management.

At SAP, Stephen Hamrick led a cross-functional team of product managers and user experience designers focused on GTM & business case, strategy, product design, and roadmap for SAP Jam Collaboration platform and SAP Jam Communities products. Stephen was also responsible for analyst, press, and influencer activities to gain market recognition for SAP Jam products. Under their leadership, the SAP Jam Collaboration platform grew to over 50 million subscribers.

In 2019, Stephen Hamrick joined Slack as the Vice President of Product Management.

Stephen Hamrick received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from San Jose State University.
