Suzanna Khatchatrian

Suzanna Khatchatrian is the Senior Director of Engineering, Data at Slack. Suzanna has been with Slack since June 2021 and in their current role for just over a year. Prior to their current role, Suzanna was the Director of Data Engineering and before that, the Sr. Engineering Manager, Product Security. Suzanna has also worked for IBM as the Head Of Security and DevOps where they were responsible for the Watson Data and AI services. Suzanna is a skilled leader and has been recognized with a People's Choice for Manager Excellence Award. Suzanna is also known for their work in building secure-by-default services, libraries, and tools.

Suzanna Khatchatrian completed a MS in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a BS in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Suzanna also has certification from IBM in IBM Certified Manager and Watson Data Platform Foundation.

Suzanna Khatchatrian reports to Cal Henderson, Co-Founder & CTO. They work with Milena Talavera - SVP, Engineering Infrastructure, Matthew Norton - SVP, Global Solutions Engineering, and Ahmed Eid - Staff Engineer.
