Juan Tarrio

Juan Tarrio has been working in the field of computer vision since 2012. In 2012, they were a Teaching Assistant at Instituto Balseiro. From 2013 to 2019, they were a Researcher at Comisión Nacional de Energía Atómica, where they developed navigation and visual SLAM algorithms for the development of inspection systems for nuclear facilities. Since 2019, they have been a SLAM Research Engineer / Computer Vision at SLAMcore Limited.

Juan Tarrio has a long and impressive educational history. Juan began their studies in 2006 at Universidad Nacional de Rosario, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2011. Juan then pursued a Master of Engineering degree at Instituto Balseiro, graduating in 2013. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy degree in the same field at Instituto Balseiro in 2019.
