Fawad Hassan

Fawad Hassan's work experience includes roles at SlashNext and Amal Academy.

At SlashNext, Fawad worked as a Machine Learning Engineer in the NLP team, focusing on NLP-based solutions for cyber phishing attacks. Their responsibilities included data extraction/cleaning, feature engineering, model training, and validation. Prior to this, they held the position of Associate Data Analyst in the Phishing Research team, where they worked on data analysis and regex-based solutions for cyber phishing attacks. Their responsibilities included data extraction/cleaning, regex development, and validation/verification.

At Amal Academy, Fawad served as a Career-Prep Fellow. This intensive 3-month fellowship, funded by Stanford University, aimed to teach professional skills to students and corporations. During their time there, Fawad invested 150 hours in developing business skills such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork.

Fawad Hassan completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, starting in the year 2016 and finishing in 2020.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, Fawad also received certifications. Fawad completed "Linux Command Line - From Zero to Expert" from Udemy in August 2021, and "Practical Deep Learning with Tensorflow 2 and Keras" from Udemy in the same month and year.
