Nick York

Nick York is a Drafting & Design Specialist at Slate River Systems. Nick has over 20 years of experience in the materials management field, with a focus on inventory, planning, and scheduling. Nick has worked in a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and technology.

Nick York began their career in 1999 as a Materials Availability Specialist at Nokia. In this role, they were responsible for managing the availability of materials for the company's manufacturing operations. Nick remained with Nokia for 10 years, before moving to American Airlines in 2010.

At American Airlines, Nick served as a Commodity Manager for the Eagle aircraft program. In this role, they were responsible for managing the procurement and delivery of materials for the aircraft program. Nick remained with American Airlines for one year before moving to Parker Aerospace in 2011.

At Parker Aerospace, Nick served as a Materials Manager for two manufacturing sites. Nick was responsible for managing inventory, planning, and scheduling for the sites. Nick remained with Parker Aerospace for four years before moving to FedEx Supply Chain in 2015.

At FedEx Supply Chain, Nick served as a Sr. Materials Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Demand Analyst teams supporting reverse logistics and refurbishment operations for technology and mobility business partners in multiple sites and in multiple states. Nick remained with FedEx Supply Chain for four years before joining Slate River Systems in 2019.
