Sara Burningham

Sara Burningham is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in production and editorial roles. Currently serving as the Lead Producer at Slate Magazine since November 2017, Burningham also holds the position of Founding Editor at Making Gay History since May 2016. Previous experience includes roles as Producer, Reporter, and Host at KUAF 91.3 Public Radio from March 2014 to August 2016, and Producer, Writer, and Editor at 1010 WINS from August 2007 to September 2012. Additionally, Burningham worked as a New York Correspondent for LBC from 2007 to January 2011. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Cardiff University and a Bachelor's degree from SOAS University of London, completed between 1995 and 2000.
