Allan Cochrane is a dedicated Ph.D. researcher at the University of Stirling, focusing on high-resolution temperature records for the Last-glacial/Inter-glacial transition through lake core analysis. Concurrently, Allan serves as a Laboratory and Field Assistant at the University of Glasgow, engaged in sediment sample collection and analysis. With considerable experience in customer service as a Retail Sales Assistant at Slaters, Allan's background also includes an internship in Biomarkers and Environmental Climate Science, where project work involved preparing organic samples and using laboratory equipment for climate research. Allan holds a Ph.D. in Palaeoclimatology from the University of Stirling, a Master’s in Climate Change from Heriot-Watt University, and an Upper Second Class Honours Degree in Earth Science from the University of Glasgow.
