John Darrow

John is a commercial real estate professional with over 15 years in the industry, and a range of experience from banking and investing to architecture. He has spent the last five years in management roles at Orix Real Estate Capital and Sabal Capital, focusing on multifamily loans for agency, bridge, and construction. During that time, he originated over $1 billion in loan volume totaling over 400 closed transactions, consistently ranking as one of the top originators nationwide when it came to agency small balance loans. Prior to that, he was sourcing and analyzing distressed loan investments for a prominent credit fund in Greenwich, CT as a result of the 2008 financial crisis. He started his career as an architect in New York City with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

John was born in Milwaukee, raised on Long Island, and lived in NYC for 12 years before meeting his wife and relocating to Dallas, TX.
