Rafael Couto

Rafael Couto is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Finance Director and CFO at Slaviero Hoteis since November 2018, overseeing finance, accounting, tax, and business planning for 30 hotels and the corporate office, in addition to leading the IT and Human Resources areas. Previously, Rafael held the position of Regional Controller at Slaviero Hoteis, managing 15 business units, and worked as the Controller for Rede Estanplaza de Hotéis, where responsibilities included financial closing and internal audits for 7 hotels. Rafael’s career began at Atlantica Hotels International, where roles ranged from Controlling Assistant to Regional Controller. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Strategic Management from FGV, a degree in Economics from Faculdades Integradas Campos Salles, and Business English certifications from Berlitz Brasil and EC English Language Centres.
