Charles Southwick

Charles Southwick joined Slayton Search Partners in 2014 and was promoted to Senior Vice President & Principal in 2020. He has conducted searches across a range of firms and industries including Fortune 500 and private equity backed firms.

He has managed projects across an array of market segments and continues to develop impactful relationships throughout the sectors of food & beverage, manufacturing, insurance, health care, software and technology, energy/oil & gas among others. These searches include recruiting key leaders across all functional disciplines. Charles provides his clients with insightful and targeted analysis of candidates’ strengths and fit for search assignments. Clients consistently recognize his focused and efficient leadership approach to the search process which makes a positive impact on company culture, revenue growth and bottom line profits.

Prior to joining Slayton, Charles thrived for nearly 10 years with a worldwide search firm where he executed various professional level searches and achieved international recognition. He held various positions including practice lead where he built the Chicagoland office’s Consumer Goods practice.
