Kathryn Schummer

Kathryn Schummer has extensive work experience in various roles related to marketing, administration, and human resources. Kathryn currently serves as the Director of Marketing at Slayton Search Partners, where they lead strategic marketing initiatives and drives revenue growth through successful campaigns. Prior to this, they held positions such as Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Coordinator at the same company.

Before joining Slayton Search Partners, Kathryn worked as an Executive Assistant at Ingenuity International, LLC, supporting the Managing Director, and at ACG/ICOS Group, providing assistance to the Director of an NGO. Kathryn also has experience as an Assistant to the Vice President of Operations/Concierge at Corporate Concierge Services, where they managed executive event planning and oversaw calendar management.

In their earlier career, Kathryn served as a Human Resources Generalist at Aon Corporation, an English Teacher at LCI Academy/Kid's Club, and a Human Resources Manager at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. and Hilton. In their role at Hilton, they managed recruitment initiatives, developed internship and management programs, and chaired the Community Service Committee. Overall, Kathryn Schummer possesses a diverse range of skills and experiences across multiple industries.

Kathryn Schummer holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Sustainability Studies from the University of Sussex, which they obtained from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Business Administration and French from Cornell College from 1994 to 1998. Kathryn also attended the French American International School in San Francisco, CA, from 1990 to 1994, where they obtained an International Baccalaureate. In addition to their formal education, Kathryn has also obtained a certification titled "Paiger University: How to be successful on LinkedIn" from Paiger in 2023.
