Nizar Shawwa

Nizar Shawwa has extensive experience in finance, primarily within the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Finance Director for Global Midstream Production Systems at SLB since November 2003. Shawwa has held various finance director roles encompassing regions such as MENA, Saudi Arabia & Bahrain, and Australasia, along with positions as Smith & M-I Swaco Controller and Drilling Group Finance Manager. Prior to SLB, Shawwa worked at Ernst & Young in Assurance & Advisory from July 2002 to October 2003 and at Arthur Andersen in similar roles from October 2000 to July 2002. Educationally, Shawwa holds a BSc in Accounting from Al Ahliyya Amman University, earned between 1996 and 2000.
