Shannon Fischer, M.Ed., LPC, NCC, currently serves as a Licensed Professional Counselor at the St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute, specializing in the Center for OCD and Anxiety Related Disorders since August 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Licensed Professional Counselor at Provident Behavioral Health and a Provisionally Licensed Professional Counselor at Hope and Inspiration Counseling LLC, where individual counseling and facilitation of SMART Recovery groups were key responsibilities. In addition to counseling expertise, Shannon Fischer has a background in payroll and human resources, having worked at ARCO Construction Company and AAA. Educational achievements include a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications and Sociology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
