Tiago Agne is a sustainability professional with extensive experience spanning multiple organizations. Currently serving as a member of the ESG Squad at IBGC since April 2023, Tiago has also been involved with Amcham-Brasil on the Strategic Sustainability Committee since October 2020. Over the course of a long tenure at SLC Agrícola S/A, Tiago holds roles as Sustainability Manager, SSMA Coordinator, and Environmental Coordinator. Additionally, Tiago is a member of the Brazil Task Force at the Round Table on Responsible Soy Association since August 2017 and has been part of the ONU Global Compact Platform for Sustainable Agriculture since October 2015. Previous experience includes serving as a forest engineer and manager at the Government of RS's Environment Secretariat from March 2005 to December 2007, and as a forest engineer at Terra Nova Brasil for a brief period in 2003. Tiago holds a degree in Forest Engineering from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria, a degree in Work Safety Engineering from Centro Universitário Metodista IPA, and an MBA in Environment and Sustainable Development from Estácio.
