Dusan Golubovic

Dusan Golubovic has extensive work experience in the field of chip engineering and manufacturing. Dusan currently holds the position of Vice President of Chip Engineering and Manufacturing at KYOCERA SLD Laser, which they began in April 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Development Director, Automotive at Lumileds from January 2019 to April 2022. Dusan also held the position of Development Director at Lumileds from April 2014 to December 2018.

Before their tenure at Lumileds, Dusan worked at Philips Lighting as a Senior Technology Manager from February 2013 to March 2014, and as a Technology Manager from March 2011 to March 2014. Dusan started their career at NXP Semiconductors, where they served as a Senior Research Scientist from September 2006 to March 2011.

Additionally, Dusan gained experience as an Industrial resident at IMEC from September 2005 to March 2011. Dusan also worked briefly as a Principal Engineer Process Development at Systems on Silicon Manufacturing Co Pte Ltd in June 2008.

Prior to these roles, Dusan worked as a Research Scientist at Philips from August 2005 to September 2006. Dusan began their research career as a Research Scientist at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2002, and later held the same position at Universidad autonoma de madrid from January 2004 to February 2004.

Dusan Golubovic completed their education in the field of Physics, Micro- and optoelectronics, and Electrical Engineering. Dusan started their educational journey at the University of Belgrade in 1993, earning a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1998. Following that, they pursued further studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) between 1998 and 2000, specializing in Micro- and optoelectronics. Finally, Dusan enrolled at KU Leuven in 2002, where they completed a PhD in Physics in the year 2005.
