Lead Material Artist at Sledgehammer Games

Gil John Rodriguez has a diverse work experience in the gaming industry. Gil John started their career at Atomic Games as an Artist in 1999, where they worked until 2000. Gil John then moved on to 2015, Inc, where they served as an Environment / Texture Artist from 2002 to 2004. After that, they joined Electronic Arts (Visceral Games) in 2005 as an Environment / Texture Artist and remained in that role until 2013. Finally, they took on the position of Lead Material Artist at Sledgehammer Games in 2013, where they currently work.

From 1997 to 1999, Gil John Rodriguez attended The Art Institute, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Animation.
