Preet Kukreti

Preet Kukreti has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Preet started their career in 2006 as a Sales Assistant at David Jones. In 2007, they interned at IBM Rational as a Technical Support Engineer, providing assistance to software developers.

In 2008, Kukreti worked as a Junior Developer Intern at Epiphany Games, where they contributed to the development of software classes and components using C++ and Visual Studio. Preet also gained experience with shader programming.

In 2009, Kukreti worked independently as a Python Django Web Developer, creating a full-featured forum, a stat-tracking and graph display system, and an integrated wiki and news/blog section.

From 2010 to 2011, Kukreti worked at Optiver Asia Pacific as a Graduate Applications Engineer, managing internal software processes for high-frequency automated trading systems.

In 2010, they also joined DrD Studios as an Animation Technical Assistant, where they focused on problem solving and pipeline/tools development for the animation pipeline using Python in a Linux environment.

From 2012 to 2013, Kukreti worked as a Self-Employed Software Engineer, primarily engaged in 3D game engine design and development using C++ and DirectX. Preet also developed tools and scripts using Python and Qt.

From 2013 to 2019, Kukreti worked at Wargaming Sydney as a Software Engineer, progressing from a Junior Software Engineer to a Senior Software Engineer role. Preet worked on the client/engine/rendering team, contributing to game projects such as World of Tanks/Planes/Warships using C++, Direct3D11, and Python.

Since 2020, Kukreti has been working at Sledgehammer Games as a Senior Software Engineer, undertaking project work for current and upcoming Activision titles.

Preet Kukreti completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Software at the University of Sydney from 2005 to 2009.
