Lead Sound Designer at Sledgehammer Games

Robbie Elias has a comprehensive work experience in the field of sound design and audio implementation. Robbie is currently working as the Lead Sound Designer at Sledgehammer Games since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Sound Designer at Microsoft from 2009 to 2022, where they worked on various projects such as Halo 5 DLC and Halo 5 Guardians, leading a team of Audio Implementers and improving the implementation pipeline. Robbie also worked as an Associate Sound Supervisor at Crytek, collaborating with the Audio Team for Ryse: Son of Rome. At Boom Library, they worked as a Field Recordist for a special project. In addition to their industry experience, Robbie also worked as a Game Audio Instructor at Vancouver Film School and as a Sound Designer/Implementer at Deep Fried Entertainment. Robbie has a strong background in sound design and has contributed to various games and projects throughout their career. Prior experience includes graphic design and sound design roles at Lothian Sound and Design.

Robbie Elias pursued their education by enrolling at Vancouver Film School, where they obtained a degree in Sound Design for Visual Media from 2007 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed a Foundation Visual Art and Design program specializing in Video Production and Graphic Design from 2006 to 2007, also at Vancouver Film School. In addition to their formal education, Robbie Elias obtained a certification in New Manager Foundations from LinkedIn in February 2019.
