Andrea Amodeo

Andrea Amodeo has extensive work experience in the field of user experience design and product development. They started their career as a Freelance Web Designer and Developer in 2013 before joining the Interactive Institute Swedish ICT AB as an Interaction Designer, where they worked on the design of an augmented table tennis system. In 2015, they worked as a User Experience Consultant at Systemair, focusing on the design and development of a responsive web app for home ventilation systems.

Andrea then held the position of User Experience Consultant at Tele2 IoT, where they worked on the 2Discover platform, utilizing network information to simplify troubleshooting and tracking of IoT devices. They also worked on pre-studies for further applications. They later joined inUse as a User Experience Designer and worked with various clients, including ABB, Tele2 IoT, and Ericsson.

In 2019, Andrea worked as a User Experience Consultant at Volvo Group, contributing to the user experience strategy and design of a product for Volvo Penta. They then joined AFRY as a Senior User Experience Designer, where they worked on diverse projects with dedicated teams and independent deliveries, collaborating with other designers and development teams.

Most recently, Andrea joined ABB as a User Experience Consultant, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to investigate customer needs and identify potential products and business opportunities. They co-created low-fi proof of concepts and verified them with expert users.

In 2021, Andrea joined Sleep Cycle as a Senior Product Designer. Their extensive experience in user experience design and product development makes them a valuable asset to any organization.

Andrea Amodeo obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from 2005 to 2009. Following this, Andrea pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering for the Communication from Politecnico di Milano, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Lastly, Andrea attended Chalmers University of Technology from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Interaction Design and Technologies.
