Michael Gradisar

Head of Sleep Science at Sleep Cycle

Michael Gradisar started their work experience in 1998 as a Research Assistant (Sleep) at Flinders University. Michael then worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Adelaide Institute for Sleep Health from 2002 to 2007. In 2002, they also began working at Flinders University as an Associate Lecturer, and they held various positions at the university including Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor until 2021. During their time at Flinders University, they also served as the Director of the Flinders Insomnia Clinic from 2016 to 2021. In 2006, they became the Director of the Child & Adolescent Sleep Clinic. In 2021, they became the CEO of WINK Sleep, and in 2022, they started working as the Head of Sleep Science at Sleep Cycle.

Michael Gradisar attended Flinders University from 1999 to 2005, where they obtained a Master of Psychology (Clinical) degree with a focus on paediatric sleep. Michael further pursued their education at Flinders University and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Psychology, which they completed between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, Michael holds a Clinical Psychology endorsement from the Psychology Board of Australia, although the institution and date of obtaining this certification are not provided.
