Brian Buckwalter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brian is currently working as a Senior Communications Associate at DAV (Disabled American Veterans) since September 2021. Prior to this, Brian served as the Chapter President for SLEEP IN HEAVENLY PEACE INC, where they volunteered to lead a team that built and distributed over 400 beds to children in need in the Gwinnett County area.
From 2018 to 2021, Brian worked as an Operations Chief at Defense Visual Information Distribution Service, where they served as the senior Marine Corps liaison and strategic planner for web development requirements.
With a background in the military, Brian also worked in multiple roles at Marine Corps Recruiting. Brian served as a Marine Corps Recruiter from 2015 to 2018, where they recruited highly qualified individuals and prepared them for recruitment training. Additionally, they worked as a Public Affairs Chief from 2013 to 2015 and as Broadcast Chief/Deputy Public Affairs Chief from 2010 to 2013.
Before their military career, Brian worked at The Pentagon Channel as an Anchor/Producer/Writer/Editor from 2004 to 2010. Brian also pursued their studies at Newhouse School, Syracuse University, where they were a student in 2006-2007.

Brian Buckwalter obtained a Diploma from Phoenixville Area High School. Brian then pursued a military-related program, the Military Motion Media Program, at Syracuse University in 2006-2007. In 2012-2013, they completed a Certificate in Public Affairs Qualification Course at the Defense Information School, Fort Meade, MD. Lastly, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2021.
