Dan Verbockel

Dan VerBockel is a Mechanical Design Engineer in the R&D Emerging Technologies Group at Sleep Number Corporation, with experience dating back to 2012. Prior to this role, Dan served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Permasteelisa North America Corp., focusing on translating architectural drawings into 3D models for testing and structural analysis. Earlier roles include internships in thermal engineering at Harmon and in product design at Andersen Corporation, as well as positions at 3M and other organizations, where Dan developed skills in manufacturing, testing, and customer service. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, completed in 2016.
