Mudassar Mohammed

Mudassar Mohammed has a diverse professional background, having worked in various industries since 2014. In 2021, they began their current role as Lead Supplier Quality Engineer at Sleepiz AG, where they are responsible for ensuring suppliers are monitored per ISO 13485 and 9001 procedures and documentation, leading supplier ISO 13485 audits, and publishing quarterly supplier quality performance reports. In 2020, they were a Product Development Engineer at DePuy Synthes Companies, where they worked on EU MDR & NPD projects, prepared design validation and verification, and wrote testing protocol for Depuy power tools. In 2019, they were a Quality Engineer at both Ford Motor Company and Zimmer Biomet, where they were responsible for quality testing new models of Ford's vehicle line, quality testing of interior electric systems, and executing design controls and analyzing design inputs. In 2017, they were a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Northern Illinois University, where they collaborated with a group of graduate students on research projects and taught Engineering Graphics and Design of Machine Elements. Finally, in 2014, they were a Project Intern at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, where they assisted design engineers with providing design solutions, analyzing blueprints, and performing tolerance studies.

Mudassar Mohammed obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineer's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University between 2011 and 2015. In addition, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Council for Six Sigma Certification in March 2017.
