Elie Gottlieb, PhD, serves as the Lead Applied Sleep Scientist at SleepScore Labs since April 2021, focusing on expanding the applied science team and managing the development of sleep and circadian digital tools. Previously, as an Applied Sleep Scientist, Elie contributed to a significant increase in scientific outputs and facilitated cross-functional collaborations on various sleep-related projects. Prior experience includes being a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health, leading a research team and establishing international partnerships, and completing a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Melbourne, where Elie published extensively and conducted groundbreaking research on sleep and neurodegeneration. Earlier roles at Johnson & Johnson included positions as Research Specialist II and Research Specialist. Educational qualifications include a PhD from the University of Melbourne and a BA in Psychology from Rollins College.
