Dr. Roula Basbous

Dr. Roula Basbous has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2000, they founded and served as the General Manager of a private dental practice until 2004. From 2004 to 2010, they worked at Rizk Hospital as the Head of the Dental Division and Consultant in Dentistry/Periodontology. In 2011, they became an Associate at Green Clinics and worked there until 2012 as a consultant in healthcare, wellness, food safety, and the environment. In 2017, Dr. Basbous joined the Minister of Environment as an Advisor until 2019. In 2019, they founded a think tank called HEAL (Health & Environment Association- Lebanon) that focuses on promoting a healthier environment and governance through science, education, and policy. In 2020, they co-founded Sensteria, and in 2021, they became the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of SLEEVE.

Dr. Roula Basbous completed their Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in Dentistry at Lebanese University. Dr. Roula then pursued a DES in Periodontics/Periodontology at Universite Saint Joseph. In 2012, Dr. Basbous furthered their education by completing a Global Executive MBA at INSEAD. Dr. Roula also attended the Medical University of Vienna in 2012 and INSEAD again in 2015, but the specific degrees or fields of study for these programs were not provided.
