Ross Shardlow

Ross Shardlow has worked in the software engineering industry since 2015. In 2015, they worked as an Assistant Brewer at Woodstock Brewery as part of a course's vacational work experience programme. In 2017, they worked as a Business Analyst and Web Developer at Journey Customer Innovation, where they used R, Excel and SQL (Vertica), as well as PHP, Vue. JS and Python. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at Flickswitch, where they were a full stack engineer, focused slightly more on backend development. Ross maintained the existing SIM management platform written using the Django framework, and was involved in large-scale projects to build out new and existing systems in Elixir.

Ross Shardlow attended Westerford High School from 2008 to 2012, and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town in 2016.
