Jenny Benson has a diverse work experience, having worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Jenny began their career as a Textbook Associate at Follett Higher Education in 2009. In 2012, they became a Foster Barn Manager at the Wagmore Foundation, where they were responsible for the daily care and enrichment of rescue dogs under foster care. In 2014, they began working as a Decaler at HTH, Inc, and also started a freelance photography business with their husband, Matt and Jenny Benson Photography. In 2018, they worked as a Personal Assistant and Grant Researcher at the Wagmore Foundation, and also as a Pastry Chef at The Vine Sourdough Bakery. In 2019, they became an Insurance Services Representative at Nationwide, and in 2022, they became a Customer Success Manager at Slice Engineering, LLC.

Jenny Benson attended the University of Florida from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Communications, Photojournalism.
