Jamie Beznoski is an experienced software developer with over 20 years of experience. Jamie began their career in 1997 at Nortel Networks as a Java Software Designer, where they delivered their first assignment two weeks ahead of schedule with a 95% test pass rate. Jamie then acted as a user interface design expert for a community of 30 designers and presided over 250,000 lines of C++ code. Jamie also received a peer award from a design team in England for implementing a key fix on their behalf. In 2003, they joined Affinium Pharmaceuticals as a Software Developer and was part of an Extreme Programming team developing a Java informatics LIMS program. In 2004, they joined Klocwork as a Software Designer, where they were part of a 6-person team that designed and implemented InTellect, a Java charting/reporting application. In 2006, they joined Tamarindo Systems as a Senior Software Developer and was responsible for designing and implementing a sales management/customer relationship management application in .NET. Jamie then joined BitHeads and was a Senior J2EE/Spring designer on a high-performance, high-uptime, secure online gaming system. In 2007, they joined Irdeto as a Senior Software Designer and was responsible for design and development of a JMS messaging backbone, as well as a jackpot feature using JCA and a game browser feature using JAXB and XML. Jamie then joined the Canadian Payments Association in 2012 as a Senior Java Analyst and was the application team lead for the LVTS Web Enablement project. In 2014, they joined the Canadian Internet Registration Authority as a Senior Java Designer/Team Lead and was the team lead for a team of six full-stack software developers. Finally, in 2019, they joined Slice Labs as a Lead Java Developer and was the senior designer on a Java/Spring Boot microservices project that provides cloud-based, on-demand insurance. Jamie also mentored and provided technical guidance for junior developers by enforcing standards and patterns and remotely pairing on more challenging features. Jamie also joined a delivery planning team made up of the organization's senior leadership.
Jamie Beznoski completed a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Manitoba in 1996. Jamie studied Computer Science from 1992 to 1996.
