Joris van Thiel has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies. Joris started their career at PinkRoccade in 1992, where they worked as a Project Manager Operations & Infrastructure and later as a Field Manager until 1998. Then, they joined HEINEKEN in 1998 and held various roles such as Project Manager, IT Lead StarChain project, SAP Development Manager, Manager IT Control, Manager Business Control Wholesale & Services, Manager Business Improvement, Director Customer Services, and Programme Director StarSales until 2017. Currently, they are working as the Head of Customer Service at Sligro Food Group.

Joris van Thiel completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology from 1989 to 1995. Joris then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Financial Management from NIMBAS, Bradford - Graduate School of Management, from 2003 to 2005.
