Roel Megens

Roel Megens is an experienced professional in supply chain management and logistics, currently serving as an International Supply Chain expert at Sligro Food Group since December 2019 and as Chairman of Vijf Sterren Logistiek since April 2022, an organization focused on enhancing logistical activities in the Noordoost-Brabant region. Previously, Roel held the position of Operational Director of Logistics at Blokker from December 2015 to December 2019 and was Site Manager at CEVA Logistics, overseeing the Microsoft EMEA Distribution Centre from October 2013 to December 2015. Roel also served as Site Manager for Logistics at Sligro Food Group between 2007 and 2013 and held various roles at Laurus from 1998 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Personnel Sciences from Tilburg University and a degree from Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch.
