JC Heyneke

JC Heyneke is an experienced executive with a background in AI, venture building, and sales strategy. JC currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Slimmer AI, where they lead the development of AI software products and supports new applied AI B2B companies. JC Heyneke is also an Advisor & Investor for various companies, including Koala Insurance, Uncover, Hadrian, Vesper, and Biller. In these roles, they provide guidance and investment support to companies utilizing AI in various industries. Prior to their current positions, JC Heyneke held senior leadership roles at RELX Group, where they managed software businesses, led product strategy and development, and oversaw global sales effectiveness. JC also has experience working at McKinsey & Company, providing advisory services to multinational companies, and at Megger, leading software development projects.

JC Heyneke has a diverse educational background. JC obtained their MBA in International Business from Columbia Business School from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued a B.Com (Hons) in Informatics at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 1998 to 1999. Before that, they completed a B.Sc (Hons) in Industrial Engineering, also at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, from 1997 to 1998. JC Heyneke's educational journey began with a B.Ing in Electronics Engineering at the University of Johannesburg, which they pursued from 1993 to 1996.
