Erik Velstra

Erik Velstra serves as Directeur en oprichter at Slimmerik since September 2016, bringing a wealth of experience in education and pedagogy. Prior to this role, Erik worked as a Leraar speciaal basisonderwijs at SBO Aquamarijn from August 2010 to July 2018, and as a Pedagogisch medewerker at Tjallingahiem from August 2007 to August 2010, and at Zorgboerderij Haubois from August 2006 to September 2007. Erik holds multiple degrees, including a Post-Hbo opleiding from Geef me de 5 Academie Doetinchem, training in Rots en Water weerbaarheid, and qualifications in moving education from Hanze and a foundational teaching degree from Stenden. In addition, Erik has completed training in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.
