Wilson Cheung

Wilson Cheung has over 10 years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Research Manager at Slingshot Insights. From 2012 to 2021, they worked at Suncor in various roles, including Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Infrastructure Engineer, Electrical Engineer (EiT), Mining Project Engineer (EiT), and Electrical EiT - QA. In 2010, they began their career at Suncor Energy Inc. as a Co-op Student - Electrical Engineer. During their time at Suncor, they improved safety and reduced operating expenses by designing scopes of work to mitigate and eliminate risks from capital project phase. Wilson also minimized downtime by coordinating with maintenance, operations and commissioning stakeholders to optimize scheduling for execution of projects.

Wilson Cheung received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary in 2012. Wilson began their studies at the University of Calgary in 2007.
