Allison Cardiel

Building Science Researcher & Analyst at Slipstream

Allison Cardiel, Ph.D., is an experienced educator and researcher with a strong focus on materials chemistry and sustainability. Since July 2013, Allison has provided one-on-one tutoring at Galin Education, assisting high school students in academic subjects and college entrance exam preparations. In addition, as a Building Science Researcher & Analyst at Slipstream since July 2019, Allison conducts research related to energy and sustainability in buildings, leading data monitoring and collection efforts. Previous roles include a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where Allison designed and executed experiments on solar energy and biofuels, and a Research Intern at Seventhwave, focusing on energy efficiency technologies. Allison holds a Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry and Electrochemistry, as well as multiple degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Carleton College.
