Cynthia Segura

Cynthia Segura is an accomplished project manager currently working at Energy Solutions, focusing on consumer protection support for Illinois Shines since September 2022. As a fellow with the Clean Energy Leadership Institute and former Carbon Free Buildings Coordinator at the Citizens Utility Board, Cynthia has engaged the public on utility policy and renewable energy. Previous roles include serving as a Greenest Region Corps member for the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus and assisting in various capacities, such as Planning and Programs Associate Intern for the American Solar Energy Society. Cynthia has also contributed to research initiatives at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Science and participating in an environmental science exchange program in Sweden.
