Kayla Kennedy

Kayla Kennedy has a diverse work experience across various industries. Kayla started their career as a Summer Intern at Educational Testing Service (ETS), where they worked on developing options for transitioning from paper to digital SAT Incident Reports. Kayla also attended meetings between ETS, College Board, and Pearson to discuss project progress.

Kayla then worked as a Recruiting Intern at Staffing-the-Universe, where they sourced and contacted potential candidates, conducted phone interviews and pre-employment tests, and provided administrative support to the recruiting team.

Next, Kayla served as a Student Ambassador at Ruffalo Noel Levitz, where they built connections with Rutgers University alumni, communicated positively about the university, and raised funds for scholarships and initiatives. Kayla also ensured accurate information in computer systems.

Subsequently, Kayla joined Daniel Kennedy CPA as a Manager. In this role, they trained interns in tax preparations, handled individual tax preparations, and provided client support both in person and over the telephone.

Following that, they worked as a Human Resources Services Specialist at Rutgers University–New Brunswick. Their responsibilities included managing and resolving HR and payroll inquiries through ServiceNow, processing employee vision reimbursements, and collaborating with various specialists to resolve urgent cases.

Currently, Kayla is working as an Information Technology Recruiter at Slipstream IT. The company specializes in IT outsourcing and managed solutions for emerging pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Their role involves strategic consulting, recruiting IT professionals, and supporting the company's mission of advancing life-saving medicines, technology, and knowledge.

Kayla Kennedy began their education in 2014 at Montclair State University, where they pursued an unspecified field of study. Kayla completed their studies there in 2015. Afterwards, they enrolled at Rutgers University in 2016, where they focused on Human Resources and earned a degree in that field in 2019.
