Rakesh Rai

RAKESH RAI is an experienced professional in supply chain and procurement management, currently serving as Senior Manager Supply Chain (Procurement) at SLMG Beverages Pvt Ltd since December 2022. Prior to this role, Rakesh held various positions at Parle Agro Pvt Ltd, including Senior Manager Purchase and Purchase Manager, from December 2017 to November 2022. Rakesh's career in procurement began at Brindavan Beverage Pvt Limited, progressing from SGA Manager/KAM to Manager Procurement between 2005 and 2017. Rakesh also gained early experience in sales during tenures at PepsiCo and Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, along with a foundational role as Asst Project Officer at the Institute of Entrepreneurship Development. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (Hons.) from Banaras Hindu University, an MBA in Marketing from Purvanchal University, and a PGDCA in Computer Application from Udai Pratap College. Currently, Rakesh is pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Executive, specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, expected to be completed in October 2024.
