Steve Shaw

Steven Shaw is a partner at Sloan Sakai Yeung & Wong LLP, with extensive experience in representing California cities, counties, state agencies, and various public entities in labor and employment matters since April 2018. Steven specializes in litigating a wide range of employment lawsuits, including discrimination and harassment claims, whistleblower claims, wage-and-hour disputes, and violations of key public safety laws. Prior to this role, Steven served as Senior Counsel at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore and was a partner at Renne Sloan Holtzman Sakai LLP, where responsibilities included advising on EEO compliance and conducting workplace investigations. Steven’s background also includes significant litigation experience, starting from early roles at Simeone and Miller LLP and the U.S. Small Business Administration, following a Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia.
