Alexander Yant

Site Development Lead at Slope

Alexander Yant has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Alexander began their career as a Producer at Hadley, where they collaborated with the institute's staff and consumers to create educational content. Alexander then worked as a Level II Fieldwork Student at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab and HCR ManorCare, where they evaluated and treated patients with a range of conditions and planned therapeutic exercise programs.

After completing their fieldwork, Alexander worked as an Occupational Therapist at HCR ManorCare, where they evaluated and treated patients, educated them and their families about their conditions, and administered various treatments. Alexander also worked as an Occupational Therapist at TNR Staffing, LLC., assessing patients and providing therapy interventions.

In 2018, Alexander took on multiple roles at From Mind to Matter, including Developer, Designer, Writer, Producer, and Host. Alexander also worked as an Occupational Therapist at HCR ManorCare, evaluating and treating patients and planning therapeutic programs. Later that year, they joined SaveYourEars as a Developer, Writer, Team Leader, and Designer.

In 2020, Alexander joined UW Carbone Cancer Center as a Protocol Administrative Coordinator, where they collaborated with researchers, hospital departments, and sponsors to expedite the activation process of clinical trial research protocols. Alexander also created and reviewed site-specific documents and managed multiple deadlines.

Currently, Alexander is working at Slope as a Solutions Engineer. In this role, they support the qualification of prospects and prepares technical presentations to explain the company's SaaS platform to potential customers. Alexander understands client requirements and demonstrates how Slope's platform can improve their operations and reduce costs.

Alexander Yant pursued their education with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism & Strategic Communications (with comprehensive honors) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Alexander attended the university from 2009 to 2013. Later on, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois Chicago, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Prior to their college education, Alexander attended New Trier High School from 2005 to 2009. Apart from their formal education, they also acquired additional certifications, including an Instructor Trainer certification from USA Archery in January 2023 and a Level 3NTS Coach certification from the same institution in December 2022.
