Helen Buckland

Helen Buckland has over two decades of experience in social services and support roles, currently serving as the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Lead at Slough Borough Council since February 2010. In addition to this role, Helen holds positions as the Principal Risk & Exploitation Partnership Officer and Safeguarding Adults Co-ordinator within the same organization. Prior to joining Slough Borough Council, Helen worked as a Service Manager for Learning Disability services at Ability Housing Association from October 2002 to February 2010, and as a Learning Disability Nurse at NHS Berkshire from October 2000 to October 2002. Helen's educational background includes a Post Graduate Certificate in Safeguarding Adults from Keele University, alongside studies at the University of West London and Bournemouth University.
