William Ayella

William Ayella is an experienced Public Health professional, currently serving as the Public Health Programme Officer Lead for Ageing Well at Slough Borough Council since October 2018. In this role, William is responsible for the design, development, and evaluation of key public health programs, including the long-term conditions program and the Better Care Fund proactive care workstream. Previous positions include Oxfam Representative, where William delivered talks on poverty, and Senior Center/Practice Manager at Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where resource management and performance indicators were key focuses. Additionally, William held roles as a Public Health and Sexual and Reproductive Health Adviser and Orthodox Jewish Community Health Improvement Worker, emphasizing health capacity building, community engagement, and the reduction of health inequalities. William obtained an MSc in Public Health and Health Promotion from Brunel University and a BSc (Hons) in Public Health from the University of Greenwich.
